Manori is the magnificent, less exploited and best the beach in Mumbai. This island is know for cleanliness, food, nightlife. Manori is located in Dharavi Bhet(not the other Dharavi) Malad West Suburbs in North Mumbai. Reaching this place is bit a pain, this place is located 10kms from Malad Railway Station, Bus No. 272 will take you to Marve Jetty, from there you need to get into a 5 min ferry and auto rickshaw from manori jetty to center part of Manori(5mins). By road you can reach here from Bhayander, Dahisar Check naka via Uttan Road.
Manori is the one of best weekend gateways with in Mumbai. This island attracts people for night parties and beach parties. Manori is called Mini Goa in Mumbai, in all sense Manori will give you feeling like Goa whether it’s food or church, beach, road, people, resorts. Villas all are built in European style. Manori is also famous for it’s delicious food like Prawns Chilly Fry, Pork Vindaloo, Sorpotel, Stuffed Pomfret, dry Bombay duck Chutney and more, I am sorry Veggies can’t find any for you people.
Manori Beach is the best beach I ever seen in Mumbai less crowded, less polluted, good water that you can dip yourself into it.
I wonder if there was a bridge from Marve Jetty to Manori Jetty it could have been easy for people to transit, but the beauty of this place would had disturbed.
